Maryan was born and raised in San Diego, California, the daughter of the owner of San Diego’s leading ballroom dance studio. In the 1960’s Maryan moved to Houston, Texas where she pursued a career in modeling, evolved into a private interior designer for a Houston oil company, then segued into what became her real passion…. diamonds and fine Jewelry. Maryan helped launch and grow Wynmere Diamonds and Jewelry over the next 5 years. While raising a family and conducting two amazing careers, she never lost touch with her love of the diamond business, helping friends and family find the most important gems in their life.

In 1990, she joined the Houston Business Journal and ultimately became the top advertising sales producer not only for HBJ, but for American City Business Journals nationally.

In 2013, she joined her family business, Architectural Fabric Systems, leading Marketing and Sales Operations for one of Houston’s premier, commercial architectural shade and fabric panel firms,  where she worked closely on numerous multimillion dollar projects such as Gerald Hines Interests, Harvey Builders, British Petroleum,  M D Anderson and many others.

Now with her children grown and three wonderful grandchildren, Maryan had an opportunity to return to her passion … diamonds and fine Jewelry.  In 2020, she joined Noah’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry, partnering with her old friend Grayland Noah. Her plan is to leverage her extensive knowledge of the industry, gemology, style and design to help people find their dream diamonds.

Maryan wants to be person her clients call when they are facing important decisions for the most important people in their lives.
